Dedicated to the memory of our patron Mr.Roy Hudd OBE  (16th May 1936- 15th March 2020)

Heydays was privileged to be inspired by Roy for over 20 years…

Roy Hudd was a well-loved British comedian, actor, playwright and leading authority on all things Music Hall.

Roy hosted the comedy sketch show ‘The News Huddlines’ on BBC Radio 2 for over 25 years, featuring many stars of film and television and received an OBE for his outstanding contribution to entertainment.

-In the words of the great man himself:

…“I had an invitation from Heydays to become their patron…so I went along to one of their shows. I was mightily impressed. A first class revue. Of course I said I would be their patron.”
